As you might imagine from seeing Post #3, we get to see the inter-workings of a variety of industries like the construction industry, wind-turbine industry, the steel, cement, and mining industries, logistics companies, companies making paper products from wood pulp, power generation, food manufacturing, and so on.
*But just learning about them isn't enough. Like preparing for a banquet, we need to curate all the insights and put them on display in a way that is tasteful, practical, and digestible for our partners.*
Here is such an insight: the mining industry relentlessly works to improve their equipment's OEE. (OEE = Availability; Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
Would plastics manufacturers benefit from learning about, measuring, and improving their OEE?
We shared this insight with our partners TG Missouri and they ran with it.
Plastics Technology asked to cover the story & results.
The answer: Yes! This JIT Plastics Manufacturer benefited enormously from improving their OEE.
We hope all our partners (and future partners) will be able to feast at our banquet. That's the Mobil Serv way.
